After leaving Texas to move to Las Vegas for over ten years, I have replanted myself locally back in Texas as owner of Foodie Gal. If I’m not shooting, then you’ll probably find me frolicking around Europe with a glass of wine in my hand or making up for lost time away from Texas by eating queso and Texas BBQ.
I graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelors in Photography and a Minor in Visual Art, but I now specialize in a wide range of skills: photo shoots of delicious cuisine and luxury wines to styling food for clients and even consulting. I am an enthusiast for using natural light whenever possible for a bright and airy style, but also trained to handle any lighting situation.
I have shot food and editorial pieces for such publications as Vegas Rated Magazine, Vegas Seven, and Desert Companion (NPR Nevada), but also have hotel and casino clients such as MGM Resorts, Caesars Entertainment, Renaissance Hotels, and Silverton Casino for photographing their latest menu showcases in Las Vegas. Some of my clients in Texas have included K-Bob’s Steakhouse, the James Beard Foundation, Rich’s Products, and other local food trucks.
